The One Nursing Family Union students from the Faculty of Nursing – An-Najah National University conducted an outstanding awareness activity titled “Hands-Only CPR”, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and supervised by the An-Najah University Life Support Training Center (NULSTC).
This activity reflects the Faculty of Nursing’s vision to empower students with Life Survival Skills, preparing them to act effectively in emergency situations and emphasizing that every second counts when saving a life.
The event received remarkable participation and engagement from students across different faculties, who demonstrated enthusiasm and high competence in performing chest compressions at a rate of 100–120 per minute, following AHA protocols.
This initiative is part of an ongoing series of educational and training programs aimed at spreading life-saving awareness and CPR culture among youth, and enabling students to become future trainers and advocates for community health promotion.
Once again, our students proved themselves as true ambassadors of the Faculty of Nursing, demonstrating knowledge, skill, leadership, and social responsibility. Their excellent performance reflects the quality of education and international training standards offered by the Faculty of Nursing and the An-Najah Life Support Training Center, fulfilling the University’s mission in service of humanity and the community.
