The Medical Education, Professional Development, and Appraisal Unit recently coordinated a training session for the Biomedical Sciences Department staff on how to utilize Amboss, an advanced educational platform provided by the university to support excellence in teaching and learning.
The session was delivered by Dr. Mostafa Abdel Nasser, M.Sc. in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Senior Partnerships Manager (Middle East and North Africa) at Amboss. It focused on presenting key features of the platform that enhance both the teaching and learning experience. The training was held via Zoom on April 23, 2025, and lasted two hours.
As part of its mission, the Medical Education Unit actively seeks such agreements with leading platforms like Amboss to provide faculty and students with effective tools that contribute to a more supportive and engaging educational environment.
This training is part of an ongoing series of workshops offered by the Unit to both basic and clinical sciences faculty members as well as students, underscoring its commitment to professional and educational development.
This activity also reflects the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences' and the university leadership’s dedication to delivering internationally recognized, high-quality educational tools to support excellence in teaching and learning.
