Yazan Jaqaman, a student at the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences at An-Najah National University, recently completed a clinical training period at Cologne University Hospital in Germany, one of the country’s leading medical centers.


During his time in the Department of Urology and Kidney Surgery, Yazan had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of procedures, including open surgeries, laparoscopic operations, and robotic surgeries using the Da Vinci Surgical System. The experience significantly enhanced his clinical skills and expanded his knowledge of advanced medical practices.

In addition to the hands-on experience, the internship improved Yazan’s German language proficiency through daily communication with the medical team and patients. He also gained valuable insights into Germany’s healthcare system and collaborated with a multidisciplinary team in a high-tech medical environment.
