Addressing the ongoing process of learning and growth, particularly in the disciplines of health and medical education, is one of the objectives of the Medical Education Department (MED). The department is dedicated to improving the skills of the faculty members.
Based on a needs assessment and feedback from our colleagues at the faculty and hospital, from different specialties, The Art of Writing MCQs workshop was conducted and presented by Dr. Suhail Salha.
The Workshop has been organized in collaboration with the Center of Excellence (CELT), directed by Dr. Mohamed Sabah, who kindly helped in the organization and holding the training.
The first session began at 9 a.m. on Jan 26, 2023, and lasted an hour and a half. The second session, which also lasted an hour and a half, was held on Thursday, Feb 16, 2023, at 12 p.m while the last session was on March 09 ,2023 and lasted one hour.
The goal of all sessions was to introduce participants to the most effective techniques for creating multiple-choice questions.
All sessions were implemented through short presentations and then active participation through small group work and interactive discussions.
