One of the objectives of the Medical Education Department (MED) is to address the ongoing process of learning and development, particularly in the fields of health and medical education. The department is committed to enhancing the competence of its faculty members.


The staff development and appraisal unit of the department of medical education, in cooperation with the Center of Excellence, organized a training workshop on "Project Cycle Management", on 20/05/2023 and lasted for five hours. Which was delivered by Mrs. Faten Akkawi the leader of the International Projects Center at An-Najah National University.

The training workshop aimed at understanding the project cycle, the objectives of project cycle management and intervention logics, being familiar with the development of a Theory of Change (ToC) (different steps clear) and the concept of ToCs in the context of PCM and intervention logics, knowing how to develop a logical framework for a project or programme, including an understanding of key elements such as general and specific objectives, activities, risks and assumptions and indicators for success, knowing how to assess the quality of a logical framework (project and intervention logic appraisal), and understanding the basic elements for systematic monitoring and evaluation (in relation to all planning efforts made earlier).
