General Introdution

The Laboratory was established in 2013 with the aim of enhancing the understanding of the therapeutic properties of natural plants and studying their role in treating various diseases, particularly chronic and refractory conditions.

Vision:To become a leading research center at both the national and regional levels in the field of advanced scientific research, contributing to a deeper understanding and utilization of medicinal plants while developing innovative natural therapies that meet public health needs.

Mission: To conduct precise and advanced scientific research on medicinal plants and their products by analyzing their chemical composition and evaluating their biological effectiveness. The laboratory focuses on enhancing traditional medicine through scientifically safe and sustainable approaches while training a new generation of researchers capable of innovation and contributing to the advancement of this field.

  • Chemical Composition Analysis: Study the chemical structure of medicinal plants and extract active compounds using advanced techniques.
  • Biological Activity Evaluation: Assess the biological properties of plants and extracted compounds, such as anti-diabetic, anti-obesity, and antioxidant activities.
  • Natural Product Development: Design and develop safe and effective therapeutic and cosmetic formulations based on natural products.
  • Traditional Medicine Enhancement: Study medicinal plants used in folk medicine and scientifically validate their efficacy and safety.
  • Scientific Collaboration: Establish local and international partnerships to advance research in medicinal plants.
  • Knowledge Dissemination: Contribute to scientific knowledge by publishing research in reputable journals and organizing specialized workshops.
