As part of the International Student Internship Program, student Eyad Acyla, representing the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, served as an ambassador of success in Italy.

I'm Eyad Acyla, a fifth-year medical student at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. I participated in a student exchange program in Italy last September. During my time at Arcispedale Sant'Anna Cona Hospital in Ferrara, I gained invaluable experience in general surgery, interacting with experts and witnessing complex procedures. This immersive experience greatly enhanced my knowledge and practical skills, marking a significant milestone in my medical journey.

Amidst my medical education, I participated in a cultural exchange initiative, connecting with peers from diverse nationalities. This enriching experience allowed me to highlight Palestinian culture while gaining insight into the traditions and customs of fellow participants. Over the past two years, I have held responsibilities for professional student exchanges at both local and international levels. This experience deepened my appreciation for the importance of student exchange programs and motivated me to participate in this program, despite the new challenge of interacting with students from different places.

In conclusion, I'm grateful to my parents, the Palestinian Medical Students Association, and An-Najah University, particularly the Practical Training Center, for their support in this exchange. I urge all students to take advantage of international opportunities for growth and proudly represent our Palestinian identity globally.
