On the 15th of February 2020, the International Medical Research Association An-Najah University (IMedRA) has conducted a workshop to introduce the ethics in research and to learn about the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at An-Najah University. The attendees learned about the history, the important stepping-stones that led to the development of the research ethics and the international standards for conducting medical and clinical research that is stated by the World Health Organization (WHO). The students also learned the ethical standards that are expected from the individual to apply when managing a research project. In addition, the workshop included a group work to practice how to fill out an IRB form.
