Pharm. D. Students Association (PDSA)‎ at An-Najah National University in cooperation with Palestine Red Crescent (PRCS), held a first aid training course at the University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences under the supervision of Deanship of Student Affairs at the University.


The workshop was organized for students from the Doctor of Pharmacy program and the Faculty of Honor, and many students of different academic programs at the University.

The training aimed to introduce possible daily life injuries, symptoms, prevention and treatment needed. Also, it aimed to equip the participants with basic skills and knowledge to enable them to deliver basic life support or carry out basic First Aid actions and qualified medical assistance in emergency situations.

The workshop was conducted in an informative manner where students got to view some graphics and interventions of common injuries and diseases encountered in daily life. Besides that, the speaker introduced types of medical services provided by Palestine Red Crescent (PRCS) that available for general public.
