
In a move to enhance the practical experience of its students, the Department of Cosmetics and Skin Care at An-Najah National University, under the supervision of Dr. Asma Radwan, organized a field visit to Sama Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Co. on September 9, 2024.
This visit is part of the department’s practical training curriculum, designed to expose students to cutting-edge technologies used in the production of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. It also aimed to familiarize them with the application of international quality standards in the field. During the visit, students toured several key departments within the factory, including production, quality assurance, quality control, and research and development. They had the opportunity to observe the cosmetic manufacturing process in detail and learn about the latest technologies utilized in the industry, along with the strict quality control measures employed to ensure the safety and effectiveness of products.
In addition to the factory tour, a company representative delivered a comprehensive lecture on the company’s history, vision, and the role of its various departments in the manufacturing process of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, allowing them to gain firsthand experience in the cosmetics manufacturing industry. It also strengthened ties between the university and the industrial sector, promoting future collaboration and opportunities for students.
