The Medical Laboratory Students’ Association at An-Najah National University, under the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, hosted an introductory scientific seminar to present the association's mission, objectives, and membership processes. The event was conducted under the guidance and support of the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The seminar followed the association's successful awareness medical day, which provided free health services such as blood tests, diabetes screenings, and blood pressure checks. These activities reflect the university’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting quality education, ensuring good health and well-being, and fostering global partnerships for sustainable development.

Key participants in the seminar included Dr. Amjad Hussein, Head of the Medical Laboratory Department; Dr. Suhad Al-Alami, the association’s supervisor; Dr. Lubna Kharraz, a lecturer in the department; Mr. Eyad Al-Aqra’, Director of Student Affairs; and Yazan Al-Bazour, President of the Medical Laboratory Students’ Association. The event was well-attended by students and other interested participants.

During the seminar, speakers delivered an in-depth overview of the association's initiatives and its role in enriching the academic and professional experiences of its members. They also emphasized the critical importance of the Medical Laboratory Department in cultivating skilled professionals capable of meeting the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.
