
We would like to share with you a brief update on our recent activities and the ongoing projects at AMedRA.
- Rare Diseases Exhibition – In recognition of Rare Disease Day (February 28th), we organized an exhibition to raise awareness among students and university attendees. Due to the country’s circumstances affecting education, the event was postponed to March 5th, 2025, aligning with in-person attendance.
- Publication Session with Mr. Amjad Badah – On Sunday, March 9th, 2025, we held a Zoom session in collaboration with Mr. Amjad Badah to introduce students to scientific publication.
- Basic Research Course – On March 11, 2025, we concluded an 11-session training course on the fundamentals of scientific research, covering topics such as research methodology, study design, evidence-based medicine, proposal writing, and literature review. The course ended with an in-person exam.
- World Kidney Day – To mark this occasion on March 13, 2025, we shared an educational video featuring Dr. Mohannad Hassan, a nephrology and hypertension specialist at An-Najah National University Hospital. You can view it here.
- Additionally, we have initiated three new research projects involving 12 students and three doctors: Dr. Ahmad Hanani, Dr. Malik Alqub, and Dr. Souad Belkebeir. We plan to collaborate with more doctors soon to expand our research efforts.
- Lastly, we are currently in discussions with PMSA (Palestinian Medical Students’ Association - Nablus) regarding the organization of a medical research conference and will keep you updated on its progress.
