Reflecting on my educational journey, I, Ola Al-Khatib, am humbled to share my story of growth, perseverance, and academic achievement. From navigating the challenges of high school to standing proudly as a nursing student at An-Najah National University, my path has been shaped by resilience, dedication, and the unwavering support of my family and university.

This marks the first time I pen down my personal achievements, and I do so with immense pride in the progress I have made. I owe my successes to the guidance of God, the steadfastness of my hands, and the support of both my family and the prestigious An-Najah National University.

Representing my university for the first time, I had the privilege of showcasing the knowledge and training skills acquired through the dedicated efforts of the university's trainers and professors. The backdrop for this significant moment was none other than the venerable University of Jordan, with its rich history and outstanding hospital facilities.

Clad in the official uniform of An-Najah University, I found unexpected recognition from patients and their companions who identified me through the university's logo. Just as the university took pride in me, I reciprocated that pride in being associated with such a reputable institution.

The experience was truly unique; I stood confidently before the staff of the intensive care department and the distinguished students of the University of Jordan, exchanging insights and learning about a hospital system distinct from my accustomed environment. Engaging with people from diverse parts of the Arab world, including a forcibly displaced Palestinian, broadened my understanding of different perspectives and narratives.

In one poignant encounter, I met an elderly woman speaking in a distinctly Palestinian dialect, refusing necessary treatment. By sharing soft words and revealing my identity, I connected with her on a profound level. She tearfully emphasized, "Anyone who has not lived in Palestine does not know its value." This encounter underscored the enduring connection people maintain with their dialect, heritage, and homeland, transcending imaginary borders and affirming the unity of the people.

I extend my gratitude to the Practical Training Center at An-Najah University for providing this invaluable opportunity. To fellow students, I offer the advice to explore unfamiliar places, exchange experiences, and represent yourselves and our university with pride. Be assured that you possess bright minds deserving of illumination.
