The World Health Organization (WHO/EMR) has recognized Dr. Samar Mismar, Founder of the Family Medicine Program at An-Najah National University, as one of the pioneers in the field of family medicine in the Middle East.


Dr. Mismar was honored during the International Universal Health Coverage Day held in Cairo, Egypt, where she was chosen as the representative of Palestine among the representatives of five countries from the region who were recognized during the ceremony.
