The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is offering the Bachelor of medical imaging, a 3-year program, at An-Najah National University.

All courses offered under this program are taught by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The curriculum includes theoretical and practical sessions distributed over three years. The courses are offered in a systemic curricular manner proceeding from basic to advanced knowledge and skills related to Conventional radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, interventional radiography and sonography while increasing the student's conceptual, inter-personal, and technical skills required for Prepare a competent radiologic technologist.

Expand the knowledge in medical imaging to play a major role in teaching, research and training Locally and globally.

To make all possible efforts to prepare qualified and well-trained national cadres in various fields of Medical Imaging and are able to compete locally and internationally. Our alumni are distinguished in their use of all areas of Medical Imaging and their ability to develop strategies and protocols to produce high-quality Medical Images which meet the requirements of the labor market locally and globally.

  • Develop the students’ knowledge and skills in their specialist field.
  • Promote a spirit of scientific inquiry amongst the staff and students.
  • Guide the students’ development of ethical values.
  • Foster a sense of professional community amongst the students and those of other departments.
  • Encourage attitudes of life-long learning, including the pursuit of continuing education opportunities.
  • Foster professional links with working radiographers and with the ministry of health, in order to prepare the department for a leading role in developing good radiation protection practices.
  • Develop an outstanding educated student in Medical Imaging that improve public health sector in Palestine.
  • Establish an exceptional research institute in the biomedical sciences field.
  • To earn a bachelor degree in Medical Imaging, students must complete 129 credit hours. These include completion of University, College, Department compulsory and elective courses.
  • Spend a minimum of 3 years in the program.

  • The minimum passing mark for each course is 60%.
  • A student who does not pass a course (achieved D- or below) is allowed to repeat the failed course up to two times.
  • students are allowed to retake a course to raise their grade point average (GPA).
